Ndicka collapsed on the pitch with complaints of chest pains in the game at studio friuli. The Ivorian received immediate treatment on the pitch before he was stretchered off.

On the stretcher off the pitch, the defender signaled to all that were standing around in concern that he will be fine. His thumbs up on his way off was enough to briefly assuage supporters in the stands as well.

The game was tied at one all when the incident happened. Udinese had taken the lead through Roberto Pereyra before Lukaku cancelled for Roma.

The game abandoned but with good news

All concerned with both teams agreed that the game should be suspended after an anxious wait for report on Ndicka’s health.

Roma manager Daniele De Rossi went into the dressing room to get more information on how Ndicka fared. He relayed the information to both sets of coaching staffs and then to the players on the pitch.

Both parties came together to deliberate on the next line of action with Roma proposing the game be postponed. Udinese were more than happy to suspend the match which will now be played at a latter date.
