Manchester United played Omonia Nicosia in the UEFA Europa League and Cristiano Ronaldo again produced an awful performance.
Ronaldo came close to scoring quite a number of times but ended up misplacing the ball everytime. The most notable was Diogo Dalot’s pass he struck to the bar with just a player standing in goal for the goalkeeper.
Most football fans are now of the opinion Ronaldo time is past as he has lost that touch of near perfection on the field of play. Many believes it’s just a phase and he’ll be back to form, but others are of the opinion he won’t recover, citing his age as the problem.

In the Group E of the Europa League, Manchester United looked to grab their second win of the group stage, but fell short after K. Ansarifard scored in the half-hour mark to give Omonia Nicosia the lead from Tyrell Malacia mistake.
Second half substitute, Marcus Rashford brought Manchester United back into the game with his outside the box effort in the 53rd minute. Another second half substitute, Anthony Martial gave Man Utd the lead ten minutes later.

Cristiano Ronaldo suffered what could be described as a terrible play, not just from loosing possessions or misplaced passes, but also missing clear scoring opportunities.
The Portuguese captain missed a good number of chances that have left many, including himself awed.
Getting full 90 minutes of the match, Ronaldo only managed o secure an assist for Marcus Rashford second of the night. The assist is also believed to come off a supposed shot which didn’t get close to the goal post.
