A viral video footage has suspected Cristiano Ronaldo to be laughing while walking down the tunnel in Portugal 1-0 lost to Morocco that saw them knocked out in the Quarter Final of the World Cup.
Tipped as one of the favorites to lift the 2022 World Cup, Portugal were unbelievably knocked out in the Quarter final by Morocco.
The African team were able to defend their first half goal for the entirety of the match, cooling off all the pressures from Portugal. Though Portugal came very close to scoring on several occasions, they were not lucky enough to find the back of the net.
Ronaldo started the match from the bench but was substituted in early in the second half. The effect of the 5 times Ballon d’OR winner was not enough to give his country a goal.
After the final whistle, an emotional Ronaldo immediately walked down the tunnel with his hands on his face, crying to the disappointment of the outcome of the match.
Though the football world feels sorry for Cristiano Ronaldo, some fan has dictated that the Portuguese captain was actually laughing and not crying while walking down the tunnel.
A video footage was use in analyzing Ronaldo’s face to dictate if it was an actual years but some believed the player was laughing and not crying.
