Videos of Ronaldo’s reaction to Mane’s goal have gone viral.
Ronaldo on the day was serving a one match ban for making an obscene gesture towards Al Hilal fans. Ronaldo’s gesture was provoked by chants of “Messi” from the stands after Al Nassr ‘s 3-2 win over Al Hilal.

Reports of Ronaldo facing a ban circulated after the game and it proved to be true with Ronaldo also getting fined.

The ban forced Ronaldo to miss the game versus Al Hazm. He had to be content with watching the game from the stands but even then he couldn’t manage to stay out of the headlines.

Al Nassr were pegged back four times in the game. With the game poised to end in a 3-3 draw, Mane netted a penalty to send Al Nassr into the lead once more.

Ronaldo’s reaction to Mane’s goal though has caused a stir as it appears to be that he was angry about the goal.

What it looks like is that he was angry about the goal initially.

But when he realized that cameras were on him, he celebrated the goal.

That may not necessarily be true as he reacted positively to Talisca’s hattrick in the same game. It could well be that he was relieved that his team had just taken the lead again.

It was a pulsating game punctuated with several defensive errors. Al Nassr ‘s lead in the closing minutes of added time was short lived though. Al Hazm managed to pegged them back once again as the game ended in a 4-4 draw.

Ronaldo has a past littered with a catalogue of bad reactions to teammates scoring goals. Especially during the hay days of his rivalry with Messi.
