Antonio Rudiger incurred an injury close to his eye after suffering a nasty head collision just as he secured a last minute equalizer for Real Madrid.

The collision was so bad, the former Chelsea player couldn’t even get to celebrate his goal.

Real Madrid medical team were quick to catch up with the player who was already loosing lots of blood. He was moved out of the stadium quickly for intensive medical attention.

Just after he got treated and the wound taken care of, Antonio Rudiger shared a picture of himself with his right eye covered and captioned it, “We are alive.”

Real Madrid has shared a video of how the German international was taken care of after his injury.
