Senegal invites witch doctors to heal Sadio Mane’s injury ahead of the World Cup

Senegal would invite witch doctors to heal Sadio Mane from his injury after he was declared not to be heading to the World Cup following the injury picked up in a Bundesliga clash, a situation that doesn’t feel right with Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich are angered and furious about Senegal’s decision to travel with Sadio Mane to the World Cup despite the player picking up an injury.

The German giant defeated Werder Bremen 6-1 in the midweek Bundesliga clash. Sadio Mane only spent 15 minutes on the pitch, he was replaced by Leroy Sane after picking up an injury.

Mane after examination was said to have suffered a knock to the head of his tibia and was expected to be out for the entirety of the World Cup.

According to journalist Christian Falk, Bayern Munich are pissed with the decision made by Senegal.

Sadio Mane was key in Senegal’s Afriacan Cup of Nations win, he was also pivotal in Senegal win over Mohaned Salah’s Egypt to gain qualification to the World Cup and Aliou Cisse’s men wouldn’t want to be without such class player at the World Cup.

The believes Mane could feel better and come in action at the later part of the competition and his presence in the dressing room would trigger the other boys to do better.

FIFA secretary general and Senegal’s senior executive, Fatma Samoura contend the country would bring in a witch doctor to help quicken Sadio Mane healing process from the injury and get him ready for the World Cup in Qatar.

He said the entire Senegal are hoping for a miracle on Sadio Mane and he has to be there at the World Cup.

“We are going to use witch doctors. I don’t know [if they’re effective] but in this instance, we’re going to use them anyway. We are hoping for miracles. He has to be there!”

Senegal are scheduled to begin their FIFA World Cup game on 21st of November against Netherlands.
