“There would be trouble if he dances” – Koke on Vinicius Jr dance celebration

Atletico Madrid captain, Koke on Vinicius Jr dance while celebrating a goal has said there would be a problem if Real Madrid star does the celebration after scoring against them.

Vini Jr was criticized after performing a custom Brazilian dance after scoring against Mallorca. This was triggered after Neymar was shown a yellow card for doing his custom celebration after scoring against Maccabi Haifa.

Super agent, Pedro Bravo criticized Vinicius Jr celebration, comparing his dance to that of a monkey. The President of the Spanish Agents Association later apologized for his comparison.

After Neymar got booked for his celebration in the Champions League, the Paris Saint-Germain star took to social media to blast the referee, tagging it a lack of respect for the athletes.

“Total lack of respect for the athlete. This kind of thing can’t happen. I take the yellow for simply not having done anything and I continue to be harmed. And the referee? Not even to say he was wrong, he will! A lot of lack of respect.”

Just after Neymar’s experience, his compatriot, Vini Jr got the same encounter in the La Liga, reacting to it, he encouraged Vini to keep celebrating with a dance.

“Dribble, dance, and be yourself, happy to be who you are! Go for the top, my friend, we will dance on your next goal,”

Atletico Madrid captain, Koke has said there would be trouble if Vini Jr does his dance celebration when both team clash in the La Liga.

“There would be trouble, for sure [that’s] to be expected. If in the end he scores and decides to dance…well, it’s what he wants to do.”

Atletico Madrid will host Real Madrid at the Wander Metropolitano on Sunday, September 18th, for the first Madrid derby clash.
