Messi led Argentina to their first World Cup triumph in 30 years since Maradona won it for them. The PSG star who already had a great influence in his nation, became a demigod after achieving the his country’s dream of winning a third World Cup.

Argentina World Cup winning team returned to their nation for the international break, receiving a rousing welcome from their fans and countrymen.

Lionel Messi who is a seven time Ballon d’OR winner got a special welcome when he went to eat in a restaurant in the country’s capital, Buenos Aires. It took the intervention of securities for Messi to be guided out.
