Tottenham suffers another loss, misery continues!

Ryan Mason and his boys recorded their 14th league defeat of the season after suffering a devastating defeat to Brentford in their last home game of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur initially had a bright start to the season, being unbeaten in their first seven league games before the unbeaten streak ended at the Emirates.

We can say that Tottenham’s misery began after Antonio Conte got sacked by the club for his comments on the Tottenham Hotspur players after a horrible 3-3 draw against bottom-placed Southampton, describing them as ‘selfish’.

Things went bad for Tottenham after hiring Antonio Conte’s assistant manager Cristian Stellini as the interim manager, a 6-1 thrashing at Tyneside, got Cristian Stellini dismissed as well as the coaching staff that joined the club.

Tottenham had to hire Ryan Mason as the new interim Head Coach for the second time and since then, Tottenham drew against Man United, lost to Liverpool, beat Crystal Palace and lost devastatingly to Brentford.

Tottenham’s UCL qualification hopes ended along the line and now they might not even have a place in Europe next season, sitting 8th presently and with just one game to play. If Tottenham eventually fail to make it to Europe, it will be a big loss for them after spending about £159m combined during the two transfer windows.

Tottenham Hotspur continue their search for a new permanent Head Coach and Daniel Levy has revealed that he is ready to support the new permanent Head Coach financially.

Another thing that could add to Tottenham’s misery later is the departure of their talisman and record top scorer Harry Kane who has been heavily linked to a move out of the club in the summer.

He has scored 28 goals in the Premier League for Spurs this season. Tottenham Hotspur will face Leeds United on the final day of the season.
