Zlatan Ibrahimovic had a magnificent career, retiring at the age of 41 being the greatest Swedish footballer of all time and one of the greatest strikers of his generation.

He tasted different leagues in his playing career, playing at Sweden, Spain, Italy, England, France and the Netherlands, a stunning feat for a player.

1. UEFA Champions League

It’s quite a shame that Zlatan Ibrahimovic couldn’t win the UEFA Champions League despite playing for numerous top clubs that have won the Champions League. He is perhaps the greatest player not to win the UEFA Champions League which is Europe’s grandest competition.

2. English Premier League

Zlatan Ibrahimovic didn’t win the Premier League during his short spell at Manchester United. Manchester United is the only English club he played for in his career but he couldn’t win the league title with them.

3. FIFA World Cup

He inspired Sweden into World Cup tournaments but couldn’t win it. It could pass that his Swedish national team didn’t possess the calibre of team that should compete in the World’s biggest sporting competition.

4. European Championships

Zlatan Ibrahimovic didn’t win any European trophy with Sweden being their talisman. It was hard for Sweden to even fight for trophies or win it.

5. Copa del Rey

Zlatan Ibrahimovic played a couple of games in the competition with Barcelona before they were knocked out. At Barcelona, he won the league title and SuperCopa.

6. FA Cup

Similar to the Copa del Rey, Zlatan Ibrahimovic just played one game in the competition and scored one goal before they were knocked out as well. Regardless of that, he won the Carabao Cup, Europa League and FA Community Shield with Manchester United.
