With the tensed debate of who the greatest footballer in history is, Victor Osimhen is the latest to weigh in. Surprisingly, the Nigerian striker did not choosed between Messi and Ronaldo who are the two most debated footballers.
In a YouTube documentary with one of Africa’s finest YouTuber, Korty, Victor Osimhen mentioned Diego Maradona as the GOAT while acknowledging the achievement of the Argentine legend in Napoli.
The reigning Italian Serie A top scorer mentioned that there is nothing any footballer including himself will do that would surpass what Diego Maradona did for Napoli and the people of Naples.
Maradona, a Napoli legend who is idolize by the club and his name boldly created in Napoli’s history book. He helped Napoli win numerous trophies during his time at the club. His tremendous achievements for Napoli was the reason his favourite number 10 jersey was retired in the year 2000.
Victor Osimhen was further asked to pick between Messi and Ronaldo but he declined, saying he’ll pay whatever fee to avoid that question.
