Video: 4 million Argentines storms Buenos Aires to celebrate historic World Cup win

Over 4 million Argentines have storm the streets of Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina to celebrate the historic World Cup win.

Argentina defeated France on penalties in the World Cup final. Started the World Cup in a not too good note, loosing their first match to Saudi Arabia, ending a 36 match unbeaten record.

The team turned things around and went on to win football most prestigious trophy, a trophy they last held 36 years ago when Diego Maradona was the country’s captain.

Winning the World Cup again has been a long dream for Argentines and seeing it come true, the citizens are showing how appreciative they are of it.

Over 4 million people, in a city that has 15 million people, stormed the highways, bridges and all part of the capital city to join in celebrate the country’s latest achievement.
