Qatar and Ecuador fans have clashed on the pitch at Al Bayt stadium as the visitors beat the host nation 2-0 in the World Cup opening match.
Qatar becomes the first middle east nation to host the World Cup and as expected, put up a fine opening ceremony that includes legendary American actor, Morgan Freeman.
Two goals from former West Ham striker, Enner Valencia gave Ecuador the win and causing Qatar to be the first host of a World Cup to loose the opening match.
Fans clash at Al Bayt stadium
With Ecuador securing all three points of the first group A match, Ecuadorians fans jubilated the best way they can without breaking the rule of the host country.
Despite decency by the South American country, a fan was seen being heavily interrogated by a Qatari who looked really pissed off by the gesture made by the Ecuadorian.
The Ecuadorian ready to defend himself, had a verbal exchange with the Qatar fan before the Qatari was seen telling him to shut up.

The video since surfacing online has been a thing of concern for football fans and questions requesting to know the actual cause of the heated exchange has sprung out if numerous folds.
A deep look into it, the Equador fan was seen making money signs before he was spotted by the Qatari. His sign looks to tell the rich nature of the host country and are still loosing despite their overwhelming spending.
Both fans reached out to each other, with the Ecuadorian revealing he’s named Peter. They reconciled afterwards and shared video of themselves after the match.
