Vinicius dances with Rodrygo despite Koke’s threat

Real Madrid winger, Vinicius dances with Rodrygo as they celebrate his first-half goal despite the threat from Atletico Madrid’s Koke.

Koke sparked controversies after he threatened there would be trouble if Vinicius Jr scored and does his custom dance in celebration.

Vinicius’ dance became a thing of concern after he was booked for dancing while celebrating his goal against Mallorca.

The unprovoked decision by the referee has since sparked different controversies amongst both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid fans.

Derby Match

The derby match between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid was met with heated scenes. Early in the match, there was a heated verbal outburst between Valverde and Koke.

Rodrygo and Valverde found the back of the net in the first half, putting Real Madrid at a big advantage with a two-goal lead.

Second-half substitute, Hermoso gave Atletico Madrid a better chance in the match after scoring with his shoulder late in the match.

Just a few minutes after Hermoso’s goal, he was shown a second yellow and sent off for an unseen dive by Real Madrid midfielder, Ceballos, erupting another heated scene.

Rodrygo’s goal and Vinicius Jr dance

Just 18 minutes into the match Real Madrid created a fine chance with Tchouameni lobbing a fine one-two pass to Rodrygo who fires the ball into the back of the net.

Running to the corner flag in celebration, Rodrygo had a dance with his countryman, Vinicius Jr. Both Brazilians had a playful dance before they were joined by other teammates.

Koke’s threat effect

The utterance made by Koke to Vinicius Jr has stirred a chaotic environment between supporters of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

Just before the match kicked off, hundred of Atletico Madrid fans were chanting “You’re a monkey, Vinicius you’re a monkey” just outside the Wander Metropolitano.

The racist chant has since been a thing of concern as it has been on a rise since Koke’s comment about the Vini Jr dance celebration.
