Ex French international, Rio Mavuba has revealed while what his national, Kylian Mbappe must do to flourish alongside Messi and Neymar in the Paris Saint-Germain team.
Mbappe has recently come under fire for trying to be a standout player amongst the trio, he was also accused of putting himself in a competition with Messi and Neymar.
His most recent criticism came in Paris Saint-Germain UEFA Champions league win over Juventus. The World Cup winner scored two goals in the first half and had a clear chance to square the ball to an incoming Neymar, but he instead choose to shoot and found wide off target.
Speaking to Telefoot, Rio Mavuba said Kylian Mbappe should think more of his teammates than himself if he wants to flourish in the team.
“After all, he is an attacker. He is in his idea of perhaps going to score his 3rd goal. If he develops this aspect of his game again, he will win. Especially with Neymar and Messi who will give you 20-30 assists in the year.”
Kylian Mbappe is regarded as one of the best young players in football alongside Erling Haaland.
