What next for Mourinho? Charismatic Portuguese says he is ready to return tomorrow.

Mourinho has hopped from one big managerial position to another in the last decade. The Charismatic Portuguese says he is ready to return tomorrow if he is presented with an opportunity.

Whether he would get another big profile opportunity though is a question that needs answering.

Given his high profile, Mourinho has a number of intriguing career options at his disposal.

A move to Saudi Arabia, who have not hidden their interest, would offer significant financial rewards. The Saudi Pro league continue to bolster their ranks with star players and managers.

A return to the Premier League would reignite his rivalry with some of his former foes. Former club Chelsea might be an option with Pochettino, who he replaced at Tottenham, currently under pressure. The fans were heard chanting that they want him in a recent 2-2 draw with Brentford.

The question is – can he break the cycle? Or is the “third season syndrome” something that is beyond his control?. There are certainly no easy answers.
