The France President has disclosed how his intervention helped keep Kylian Mbappe at Paris Saint German.
Mbappe was at the verge of leaving for Real Madrid after seeing his contract run out at PSG.
Mbappé had also stated clearly that he was heading for Real Madrid but sadly for the Spanish side, there was a sudden change of mind.
Big contract is one of the main reason, Mbappe stayed at PSG and another reason has been unveiled by the man who played a key role himself, Macron.
Speaking on Mbappe stay, Macron said to the media;
“I assure you, I do not intervene in any transfer!
“I am like every citizen when it comes to sport, with a desire to see a good game and to support a team, in this case Olympique de Marseille.
“I had a discussion with Kylian Mbappé upstream, simply to advise him to stay in France.
“When he is approached in an informal and friendly way, it is the role of a President to defend the country.”
