Ukrainian high jumper, Yulina Levchenko became viral because to her blonde hair, passing likeness to Barbie’s Margot Robbie, and the ambition of the World Athletics social media manager to capitalise on a significant trend.

The 2023 World Athletics Championship has been taking place in Budapest for the last eight days. It has been a wonderful event with lots of special moments.

A video of one of Yuliya Levchenko’s jumps during qualification was titled, “High jump Barbie, Ukraine’s Yuliya Levchenko,” on the account. The account also included a sped-up rendition of Dua Lipa’s “Dance The Night” from the Barbie soundtrack to drive the point home. Levchenko became an instant internet phenomenon as a result of the video, which has been viewed close to 1 million times.

A tiebreaker prevented Levchenko from qualifying for the 12-woman final, which was unfortunate for her growing fan following. She placed 17th overall. Levchenko won silver at the 2017 World Championships, but since the 2019 European Indoor Championships, he hasn’t won an international medal.
