For the annual New York City Drag March, hundreds gathered on Friday in East Villiges Tomkins Square Park. Some attendees made the proclamation that they are “coming for your children.”

In a video that Timcast News shared on Twitter, protesters can be seen chanting, “We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children,” and some of them are even dancing topless.

In a different video, a crowd assembles around a drag performer using a blowhorn, echoing his commands as some people hold banners that read “Drag isn’t for Cissies.”

The audience uttered in unison, “This is our reading of protection, in solidarity and our intention.”

“We’re coming for them. We’re coming for your children. We’re coming for them. We’re coming for them. We’re coming for your children,” they sang.

After backlash, the group removed the video, but claimed it was “tongue-in-cheek humor.” Drag Queen story hour and “family-friendly” drag events have now gained popularity around the nation.

The campaign to allow youngsters to have sex change procedures has likewise proliferated into a daily conversation point. Republican-led states have been compelled to enact legislation outlawing sex changes for minors and sexual performances.

States governed by Democrats have taken steps to become “sanctuary” states for these practices and actions. A law that would allow a kid to be emancipated from their parents and permitted to undergo a sex change, regardless of a parent’s opinions on the topic, is now being pushed by representatives in California.
