3 biggest Premier League free transfer this summer

3 biggest Premier League free transfer this summer

The season is gradually coming to an end, as well as players’ contracts. Below are three bigger Premier players that could possibly become free agents in the summer if a new contract could not be signed.

1.Youri Tielemans

The Belgian’s contract is coming to an end this summer and with Leicester City possibly getting
relegated, it looks like Youri Tielemans could be on his way out of the club.

So far, Leicester have tried so hard to keep the midfield maestro by rejecting even big offers
from top clubs for Tielemans. They’ve been offering him several new contract proposals but he
has been rejecting it all as he feels he deserves a move to a bigger club when his contract
expires.

He joined Leicester permanently in the summer of 2019 after an initial loan.
He has won one silverware with Leicester after scoring the winning goal against Chelsea at
Wembley to win the FA Cup in 2021.

The 26-year old has suffered injury problems this season and that has so much affected his
form. With 30 league appearances, he has scored 3 goals and registered an assist so far this
season.
Leicester City are having a season to forget as they are deep down in relegation and they will
need miracles to save themselves from drowning this season.

2. Ilkay Gundogan

Ilkay Gundogan’s contract with Manchester City is set to end on June 30, 2023 and there have
been no talks for a new contract so far.
He has been linked with Barcelona for quite some time now as they hope to grab him for free in
the summer.

He joined Manchester City in the summer of 2016, becoming Pep Guardiola’s very first signing
at Manchester City. Since then, he won the Premier League title in 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and
2023.

Ilkay Gundogan is known for delivering in crucial games, his heroic brace against Aston Villa
that made City clinch the PL title on the final day of the 2021/22 season will never be forgotten.
There’s no doubt that Ilkay Gundogan is a Manchester City legend! Pep Guardiola rates him so
high and definitely wants him to stay. Gundogan has scored 8 goals so far this season,
providing 4 assists too in 30 league appearances.

3. Wilfred Zaha

For the past 3 years, Wilfred Zaha has been heavily-linked to a move out of Crystal Palace and
now, with his contract expiring at the end of the season, he might become a free agent in the
summer.

Wilfred Zaha is Crystal Palace’s top scorer in the Premier League and since he helped Crystal
Palace get into the Premier League early last decade, Crystal Palace haven’t been relegated.
He initially joined Manchester United for about £10m after helping Crystal Palace secure
promotion to the Premier League but after several loans and no playing time, he returned back
to Crystal Palace permanently for an undisclosed fee in 2015.

Wilf Zaha has struggled with injuries this season making just 27 league appearances, scoring 7
goals and providing a couple of assists. Moreover, Crystal Palace are already safe from
relegation this season.
The 30-year old Ivory Coast forward is a true Crystal Palace legend and the Palace fans won’t
forget about him. If he decides to stay at Crystal Palace, he could earn up to £200,000 weekly.
