Arsenal pushing to sign Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio on a free transfer

Arsenal are reportedly pushing to sign Real Madrid player, Marco Asensio who runs out of contract with the Spanish topflight team in the summer.

Asensio have been linked with a move away from Real Madrid multiple times after failing to be a regular starter for the team since his arrival. The Spaniard saw his play time reduce further after in the current season, only managing a total of 970 minutes play time in all competition so far.

Asensio’s agent, Jorge Mendes had offered him to Premier League top clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United last summer with the player keen on leaving the Santiago Bernabeu.
