Chelsea close on signing Endrick Filipe, host his family at Cobham training ground

Chelsea are pushing ahead to lure Brazilian sensation, Endrick Filipe to the Stamford Bridge having hosting the young prospect and his family while polishing it up with the presence of Thiago Silva.

Endrick is the most sort after teenager at the moment with many European top clubs interested in signing the young talent from Palmeiras. Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona among others are the teams interested in landing the 16-year-old.

Real Madrid were believed to be ahead of other teams in the pursuits to sign the Brazilian. Things might have taken a different turn with The Times new report of Chelsea’s step.

The Spanish top flight club has has established a very strong recruitment team in South America, signing the likes of Federico Valverde, Vinicius jr, Rodrygo etc, but might fail to get the signature of Endrick, falling short of English Premier League side, Chelsea.

To ease negotiation and lure Endrick to Chelsea, the London club invited his national, Thiago Silva to spend time with the teenage sensation and further convince him to join the club.

Both representatives of Chelsea, Endrick’s family and Thiago Silva spent quality time discussing the future of the 16-year-old who is ready to leave for Europe when he clocks 18.

Endrick father, Douglas will play a big role in picking the team Endrick will sign for, as Palmeiras seeks €60million (£52.5m) for the teenager.

Endrick has scored three goals in six appearances for Palmeiras top flight team and has a ratio of a goal and an assist every 61 minute.
