Barcelona has announced the signing of Adama Traore on loan from Premier League side, Wolves.
Adama Traore loan deal with Barcelona contains a buy option which would see the Spanish giant pay €30million for the speedster. The buy option is not compulsory as it doesn’t carry any effect if Barca fails to sign him.
The Spanish international has agreed a five year deal should incase Barcelona are willing to sign him in the summer.
Here is an official statement from the club;
“FC Barcelona and Wolverhampton Wanderers have reached an agreement for the loan of the player Adama Traoré until 30 June 2022. The blaugranes will pay the player’s wages and there is an option to make the deal permanent.
“The presentation of Adama Traoré as a new FC Barcelona player will be on Wednesday 2 February behind closed doors. The club will announce further details shortly.”
Adama Traore was linked with a move to Tottenham but opted for his boyhood club, Barcelona.
