9 players to leave Chelsea in June 2023

Chelsea had lots of new inclusions in their squad during the January transfer window and are still looking to add some more in the summer. These additions creates room for for some of the older players to leave.

Players who are no longer seen as important by Chelsea would be allowed to leave in the summer.

Here are nine (9) players that are leaving Chelsea permanently;

1. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Aubameyang have fallen out of favour, not just from Chelsea’s coach, Graham Potter but from the club ownership as well. The former Barcelona is wanted out of Stamford Bridge. He was linked with move to the MSL in January with LA but opted out. He would surely be out of Chelsea in the summer.

2. Hakim Ziyech: Hakim Ziyech almost joined PSG in the summer but a planned mind game kept him at the Bridge. Since the event, Ziyech have suddenly risen to be a favorite at Chelsea and getting more play time than he did before the failed transfer. Hakim Ziyech is set to join Cristiano Ronaldo in Al Nassr.

3. Mason Mount: Mason Mount is looking eager to join Manchester United as he has informed Chelsea he won’t be renewing his contract with the club.

4. Christian Pulisic: Christian Pulisic would leave Chelsea in the summer with club deeming him not-fit for the project they are building. Chelsea were open to letting Pulisic go in January but faced shortcomings because he was injured.

5. Kai Havertz: Chelsea Champions League winner, Kai Havertz had a relatively poor season last summer. The new Mauricio Pochetino management are willing to let him go and he would join London rivals, Arsenal.

6. Mateo Kovacic: Mateo Kovacic is one of the shocking leg-go from Chelsea. The Croatian will join Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

7. N’golo Kante: After suffering series of injuries, it was unconvincing for Chelsea to give Kante a long term contract. The French World Cup winner however has signed for Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia Pro League.

8. Edouard Mendy: Chelsea and Mendy have had several failed contract renewal negotiations, with the Senegalese unhappy with his salary structure at Stamford Bridge. He would also move to Saudi Arabia.

9. Kalidou Koulibaly: Koulibaly only joined Chelsea last summer but he’s already on his way out of the club. Koulibaly would also move to Saudi Arabia.
